In longing rhythm the restless wind danced across the desert floor,feverishly searching for the one who once moved to the passion of his dreams.

His seductive beat remained steady passing over the molten rock and sand in a smooth and rumba like fashion. . . back and forth, side-to-side, quick and slow.

At last he came to rest against a lifeless wall of stone and there in rhythmic contrast stood the fairest of all flowers… a ruby red.

She swayed with a gentle persuasion until the wind caressed her face.

For an immeasurable moment, the two stood timeless in motion while memories all too familiar, all to comfortable, flooded their dancing stage.

With one more chance in time and without hesitation, they began to move together. . . deliberately,

decisively, deliciously. . . embracing their destiny. . . the ruby and the wind.
