Wing Song

I listened in wonder to the melodic song of a dragonfly in flight,

and like the flower, knew its fluttering to be essential to the delicate threads of a forever world.

No wonder it cared not that its wing song was meek, or that its audience was silent in praise,

for completion came from its compelling rhythm that served to pollinate the fields with love.
