I awoke to the sounds of an ordinary day.  With soft intentions the morning dove gently began to alter the silence of the night

and the darkness began its diminish.

I wondered if it was the coo of the dove or the hint of dawn that inspired the other feathered friends.

For as intended, one by one they found harmony with each other and with the day.

 Like the sun beginning its promised journey, they joined the heavens in celebration and I realized

there are no ordinary days . . . only the splendor of all things.
